Your Friend from Palestine

We truly believe in the power of art and creativity as the core force behind fraternal bonds and resistance, which is why yesterday afternoon at Palestine House was so special for us.

Our young participants were captivated by Khaled’s letter from one of our favourite books, Your Friend from Palestine, by Nabila Adani. Inspired by the story, they wrote their own heartfelt letters to Khaled, their friend from Palestine. The day continued with a Tatreez workshop on traditional Palestinian embroidery, where the talented Mona El Zeet shared the meaning behind each stitch.

We are grateful to all our attendees for helping make this beautiful memory, Palestine House for hosting us in their wonderful space, and Mona El Zeet for her inspiring work!
